Thermal Chain of the Sun
Open from March to November, it is the only thermal spa in Aveyron. This establishment overlooks our town, surrounded by a forest of locust trees. The spa offers various health, fitness, and wellness packages, available as full cures or day visits, as well as health workshops (such as sophrology, sound therapy, walking, etc.).
Specializing in rheumatological conditions, post-traumatic orthopedic and joint disorders, as well as cervical osteoarthritis, cervicalgia, and lower back pain, it treats rheumatism using natural hot gases that escape from the slopes of the "Burning Mountain."

The Vaysse Forest
The Vaysse Forest is a forest of black locust trees (false acacias).
It consists of a series of open-pit mines that were operated in the 19th century and later reforested with black locust trees after mining activities ceased. In spring, when the black locust trees bloom, they release a pleasant fragrance.
The forest preserves remnants of its industrial past, including a tunnel and a perforated rock. Beneath its surface lies the famous "Burning Mountain," whose natural hot gases are used to treat rheumatism and arthritis at the thermal baths of Cransac.
Cransac Casino
Not only do we have our famous thermal spa chain, but we also have our very own casino.
The casino is open every day from 11:00 AM until 2:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday, and until 3:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
You’ll find all the classic casino games: slot machines, reels, multi-game stations, poker, electronic English roulette, and blackjack!
Enjoy live music every Saturday evening starting at 7:00 PM, and karaoke one Friday a month. Plenty of fun for everyone, whether with family or friends!
Bournazel castle
The Bournazel castle is a Renaissance-style residence located in the Aveyron department, in the Occitanie region, between the cities of Rodez and Villefranche de Rouergue.
The castle can be visited from April to the end of October, and year-round for groups.
It is classified as a historic monument, and its gardens are listed as "Remarkable Gardens."
It is considered the most beautiful Renaissance castle-museum in southern France, featuring a rich collection of paintings, furniture, and art objects from the 16th and 17th centuries.
Conques in Rouergue
The medieval village of Conques is located in the Aveyron department, in the Occitanie region.
The commune is labeled as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages of France."
It is famous for its abbey church, "Sainte-Foy." The abbey also houses a treasure with unique Carolingian art pieces. The interior is adorned with stained glass windows by Pierre Soulages.
Since the 20th century, it has been declared a "major stop" on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.
The Soulages Museum
The Soulages Museum is a contemporary art museum located in Rodez, Aveyron.
The museum was created to exhibit the works of the French painter Pierre Soulages. It also hosts temporary exhibitions of other contemporary artists.
Labeled as a "Musée de France" in 2005, it contains over 500 works and documents.
The museum is built on the former site of the Foirail public garden. Pierre Soulages is a French painter and engraver, particularly known for his use of the reflections of the color black, which he calls "noir-lumière" or "outrenoir."
Street-art trail
In our fabulous Vaysse forest, come and discover our unique Street Art trail.
The trail starts behind the thermal spa. Accessible for all ages (5 to 77), it’s a 5 km loop (about 2 hours of walking).
Street Art is a contemporary art movement that uses the natural environment and materials. The artworks are often ephemeral and change with the seasons.
Free access, open all year round.

Gua Lake in Aubin
Come for a walk around the Gua lake in the village of Aubin.
Fishing is possible all year round (pike, trout, roach, pikeperch, etc.).
With an area of 1.76 hectares and a depth of 6 meters, this lake promises a beautiful, peaceful walk.
It features a picnic area with tables and children’s games, trash cans, and restrooms.
The Camino de Santiago
The GR 65, also known as "The Camino de Santiago" covers 102 kilometers in its Aveyron section.
It consists of 5 stages:
From Saint-Chély-d’Aubrac to Saint-Côme (25 km), Saint-Côme to Estaing (20 km), Estaing to Golinhac (16 km), Golinhac to Conques (21 km), and Conques to Livinhac-le-Haut (24 km).
You will cross the Aubrac Regional Natural Park and 3 of our villages labeled as the "Most Beautiful Villages of France" (Saint-Côme-d’Olt, Estaing, and Conques).
For enthusiasts: expect a positive elevation gain of 2,500 meters and a negative elevation of 3,420 meters, with a maximum altitude of 1,360 meters.

Belcastel
Belcastel is a French commune located in the Aveyron department.
Belcastel is labeled as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages of France.
The commune includes two buildings protected as historical monuments.
the medieval Belcastel Castle, which has been fully restored and is open to the public. It houses a collection of medieval weapons and an art gallery, as well as the Old Bridge, built in the early 15th century.
The commune is crossed by several waterways: the Aveyron, the Riou Nègre, the Fon stream, and the Luc stream.
Also visit the beautiful village’s Church of Sainte Madeleine, the forge house, the bread oven, and the Roc d’Anglars.

Najac
Najac is a commune located in the west of the Aveyron department. The village stretches along part of the Aveyron gorges, at the southern end of the great Villefranche-de-Rouergue fault.
It is a medieval village, perched on a rocky ridge that runs along a single street. Below the village, the meanders of the Aveyron River flow, where you can go canoeing and enjoy swimming.
Najac is labeled as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages of France."
The commune includes six buildings protected as historical monuments:
the Consuls’ Fountain, the Church of Saint-Jean the Evangelist, the Royal Fortress of Najac (built in the 13th century), the Porte de la Pique at the town entrance, the Sénéchal’s House, and the Saint-Blaise Bridge (closed to vehicles).
